DuraGrain -Wheat is a rapidly renewable resource when it comes to agricultural standards, meaning it replenishes itself faster than its rate of consumption. This is what makes our DuraGrain wheatboard so environmentally friendly! DuraGrain composite panels can be used as a substrate for a number of different applications like painting, staining, and veneers, producing outstanding results. The benefits to using this material compared to wood-based particleboard are plentiful. DuraGrain has a smoother, harder surface and is more impact resistant, while being lighter in weight then wood-based particleboard. |

DuraWheat -DuraWheat composite materials are made from agricultural waste from the Midwest. Compared to wood based composite panels, DuraWheat has many benefits both for the environment and for building, such as being more moisture resistant while maintaining a lighter weight. DuraWheat is best used for interior applications and is a substrate for painting, staining, and veneers. This material can be used for many different purposes such as fixtures, displays, 3-dimensional letters, and sign backgrounds. DuraWheat has a unique golden look and has a wide range of custom staining options, making it a refreshing and new alternative to traditional signage. |

DuraSeed - Made from sunflower seed husks, DuraSeed is one of our most unique composite materials. It gives off the beauty and elegance of traditional burled wood, all while being cutting edge and good for the environment. The compressed sunflower husks form a very distinctive look creating a black outlining with fiber tones of yellow and browns making a beautifully unique pattern. DuraSeed can have a wide variety of colors using typical wood staining techniques. It can also stand out on its own with its natural finish or with just a clear coat. Although DuraSeed is strictly used for indoors and must not get wet, it can be used for fixtures, displays, 3-dimensional letters, and sign backgrounds. |
Kirei Board Kirei Board is manufactured from the raw stalks of sorghum, an edible grass grown around the world. After harvesting the grain for food, the stalks are compressed, washed, and woven into sheets. These sheets are then stacked and heat pressed with a formaldehyde-free adhesive to create blocks or sheets. Until now, these stalks have been discarded or burned, adding to landfill waste and pollution. Kirei Board helps reduce this waste and ease deforestation by substituting for wood. |

Cork Board Cork is rapidly renewable, fully recyclable and biodegradable. The raw material is culled from the bark of the Cork Oak tree every nine years. New outer skin grows quickly to protect the remaining inner bark. From these trees’ natural defenses, Cork gains its anit-microbial qualities and its resistance to water and heat. |

Bamboo can also be regenerated within 2-4 years as opposed to wood timber which could take as long as 25 years, and is a spectacular alternative to wood materials.

“Dye-infused” Bamboo Our dye-infused bamboo line is made from 100% rapidly renewable and mature bamboo strands that are infused with “organic” natural dyes. The infusing process creates a “solid-body” colored bamboo stock material that not only is extremely stable and strong, but has the added benefit of being colored through out the products’ entire thickness. With this product there is never the need to stain. The dye-infused bamboo is available in standard colors but can be made a specific color that meets the minimum quantity. |
